Bureau Customers
Bureau customers allow you to store details that will be used at a file/block level, you can give these a friendly name. These will be used in Jobs and in Bureau Builder submission.
Managing Bureau Customers
You will need the user role “Manage Bureau Customers” to be able to manage bureau customers. The first screen you will see will be a list of all your bureau customers.
From here you can see the name and the service user number, you can click on a row to edit a bureau customer or click the “Create New Bureau Customer” button to create a new bureau customer.
Editing or Creating a Bureau Customer
You can only edit a Bureau Customer if it is not being used in an open submission
When editing or creating a bureau customer, there are only two required fields, the name and the service user number.
The default import schema will select that schema as a default when using this bureau customer in either the job or builder screens.
The contra narrative will set/override the contra narrative that gets set in the submission.
Bank Details
Bank details for a bureau customer are optional, however if partial data is entered then the reference, sort code and account number will be required, if this is done by mistake you must clear all fields on this page.
This will be set as the originator payment details for Legacy schema and mapping schema depending on the mapping configuration.
Payment limits
Payment limits allow you to set a max value per payment and a max value per submission, these will appear as fix messages on the payments or the submission once the file has been imported
Contact Info and Notes
These are not used by paygate, but offer you a way to store related data. Contact info can be used to store contact details of that bureau customer and notes are any internal notes that you want to make against that bureau customer.
Deleting Bureau Customers
You can delete bureau customers if you not longer want or need them, to do this you will have to navigate to the “Edit Bureau Customer” page by clicking on a row in the “List Bureau Customers” screen.
You can only delete a Bureau Customer if it is not being used in an open submission
If the bureau customer is able to be deleted you will get a confirmation alert before it actually gets deleted.
If the bureau customer is used in a job, the job detail will be deleted as well. You will be notified of which jobs this bureau customer is used in before deletion
