UK Bank Accounts

Overview

This will allow you to validate a UK bank account given the sort code and/or account number.

you are able to get the bank details just based on a sort code, but this just means that that sort code is assigned to a bank, to fully validate a bank account you must enter a sort code.

Along with the bank details you will also get information on what BACS, FPS, CHAPS and C&CCC details.

When the sort code is valid but the account number is not, you will see the account number input displayed in red and a message with why it failed, but you will still see the bank details if the sort code belongs to a bank.

If both fail, you will see nothing.
